My name is James Munro. I was born in the summer of 1984. I’m a fairly new (slightly reluctant) resident of Portland, OR. I am learning. Trying. Aspiring. I’m a student at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) where I am training to be a doctor of naturopathic medicine and a master of science in integrative medical research.
But I wouldn’t say that this is a student blog. In fact, I don’t know what this blog is. My dream is to write stories that mean something to someone. To write words that have an impact. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to do that and don’t yet have the courage to write fiction so I write about silly events in my life that I’ve learned from.
I’m not sure if I’ll ever succeed in writing words that have an impact, but I promise I will keep trying.
If you’ve read any of my stories and had some reaction to my writing, please let me know. I would love to hear thoughts, criticisms, ideas, questions. Tell me you hate it. Or you love it. Or how I can make it better. Or what you think I should write about next. Anything at all. You can comment on stories or use the contact form.
I’m a long way from earning money from my writing, but if you are interested in helping me pay my way through medical school, please click on the ‘donate’ button below. Any money I collect will be put directly towards funding my medical education. Thank you!
